Let the Price Reflect Your Image

Submitted by: Ken

Nobody likes to pay more, but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for.  You will always be challenged by competitors offering services at dirt cheap rates.  How can they survive, you ask?  Simple answer, they won’t.   In order to offer insanely cheap rates, these contractors will cut corners on the job and ultimately gain a horrible reputation.  They’ll soon find they’re out of work, even with their budget rates.

As a contractor, it's your job to convince potential customers that cheaper is not better.  In fact, the cheapest price can lead to MAJOR problems down the road.  Be it electrical, HVAC, or painting, home improvement and repair is serious stuff.  Done incorrectly, and a homeowner could lose their biggest asset.

Let the price reflect your image.  Do quality work at a reasonable price.  Your customers should understand that your price reflects added value.  Whether it’s the quality products you use, or the extra steps to compete the task, explain to the customer why you’re better.  Your prices represent the quality of the work you do, and the stability of your company.
